...When You love beer...

You revere beer.  You take delight in the taste and smell and idea of beer.  You love sampling beers from around the world . These are the things that are great about beer, and they’re the very things corporate beer can't do.

Corporate beer is bottom line driven. (you know - the suits) They sell the same taste (tasteless) product to the greatest number of people. It's called rationalizing your product to "the lowest common denominator". It makes them a lot of money.

They spend more money per can in advertising and promotion than they do in ingredients. Do you really think those TV commercials with the 20 something gorgeous goddesses of flesh and bone is gonna go for average joe "wanna be" because he guzzles corporate beer??

In real life, she's much more likely to go for the true connoisseur with brains enough to understand quality and beer character does not come off a production line at a "jillion cans per minute".

Company beer, ( also known as industrial beer ) is concocted in massive vats the size of domned stadiums. Just think - all that beer has to taste the same for 50 million people. That's what mass advertising drives- a taste for the lowest common denominator.

These places look more like oil refineries than breweries.  Sure, company breweries are marvels of technology.  Really?  Then why can you brew you own beer, one with ridiculously richer, more expensive ingredients for pennies on the dollar?  Why can you tailor your beer recipes to your own taste, or even control it's alcohol content?

Because big company beer is made for the lowest common denominator in taste and more money goes into advertising and promotion than ingredients... that just doesn't cut it for real beer lovers. If your thirsty, it's OK but it is what it is.

It's About Beer, not profit

Beer companies, god bless their souls, are in the beer business to make money and most do a very good job at it.  You?  If you’re like us, you’re in the beer business to honor beer.  To enliven your life.  To enjoy the best the earth has to offer, i.e. beer. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.  

George Washington, the first President of The United States had his own small-batch recipe for brewing beer.  Why? Because even in his day, company beer was more about money than the joy that beer has to offer.
